Information Technology Education Study Program (Prodi PTI) FILKOM UB provides provision for students who have registered for the Introduction to School Field (PLP) program in the odd semester of TA. 2020/2021. The debriefing event was carried out online for four days, which are October 9, 10, 16 and 17, 2020. It was recorded that around 140 participants took part in this activity.
Generally, this activity aims to provide provision and opportunities for students of PLP participant to observe the management and culture of Vocational High Schools (SMK). The hope is that this can strengthen the teaching competence of PTI students. The six speakers who were presented in this activity were vocational school teachers in Malang and lecturers from the Faculty of Engineering, State University of Malang (FT UM). They are Listyanti Dewi Astuti, S.Pd., M.Kom. (SMKN 12 Malang), Wahyu Nur Hidayat, S.Pd., M.Pd. (FT UM), Etik Fariati, S.Pd. (SMKN 6 Malang), Aditya Imam Pratama, S.Pd., M.Pd. (FT UM), Tri Wahjoedi Hidajat, M.Pd. (SMKN 5 Malang) and Dian Purwanto, S.Pd. (SMKN 5 Malang).
Some of the material presented on (9 / 10-10 / 10/2020) includes studies of school organization management, the use of learning technology, studies of school counseling guidance, handling of learning difficulties in students, and theoretical and practical learning scenarios.
In the explanation of school organizational management, Listyanti said that knowing the management of the school organization where the PLP was implemented was very important. This is because students are also part of the school organization when carrying out their role in the PLP program.
Meanwhile, on October 16-17, 2020, there are materials that are planned to be delivered, which are ICT laboratory management studies, research on information technology, studies of curricular, co-curricular and extracurricular activities, preparation of teaching tools and micro learning. It is expected through this provision that students of PTI Study Program can carry out PLP well and get a lot of useful experiences for their careers after studying their undergraduate program at FILKOM UB.
