The Faculty of Animal Husbandry Universitas Brawijaya (Fapet UB) together with the Study Program Outside the Main Campus (PSDKU) of UB Kediri campus are trying to achieve better performance, in the field of the tri dharma of higher education and administrative management.
Therefore, since October 2020, the PSDKU Animal Husbandry has applied for national accreditation from the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education (BAN PT). After sending the documents, this stage enters a field assessment to check the truth of the data with the reality on the field.
The activity was carried out online Friday – Saturday (3-4/09/2021), opened with the signing of a field assessment statement by the head of the Study Program Management Unit (UPPS). Namely the Dean of Fapet UB, Prof. Suyadi and the head of the PSDKU Animal Husbandry study program, Dr. Agus Budiarto.
The assessors for the activity were Prof. Dr. Irma Isnafia Arief, S.Pt., M.Si and Ir. Ahmad Romadhoni Surya Putra, S.Pt.,M.Sc.,Ph.D.,IPM.,ASEAN Eng. They conducted interviews with UPPS leaders, the accreditation team, internal quality assurance implementers, and UPPS management. Also the lecturer representative, education staff, students, and stakeholders alternately in several sessions. Aims to find out the UPPS development plan, governance system, management system, UPPS achievements, and development plans of PSDKU Animal Husbandry.
Then on the next day, the two assessors visited the laboratories in Fapet UB and PSDKU Kediri virtually.
Besides animal husbandry study program, PSDKU UB Kediri Campus has several study programs with good status. There are Agro ecotechnology and Agribusiness study programs (Faculty of Agriculture), as well as Aquaculture and Fisheries Socio-Economic Study Programs (Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences).
