Students of the Faculty of Computer Science, Universitas Brawijaya (FILKOM UB) have once again shown brilliant achievements in the national arena. On June 13, 2024, the team consisting of Richard (Informatics Engineering ’23), Faira Nabila Putri Yenita (Information Technology ’22), and Sabrina Kamila (Information Technology ’22) won an award at the I/O FESTIVAL UNTAR event organized by BEM FTI Universitas Tarumanagara (UNTAR). This competition is a prestigious event that challenges students’ creativity and technical skills in the field of information technology.
In addition, other student teams from FILKOM also made achievements at the 2024 Business Fair organized by the Student Association of the Department of Business Administration, University of Lampung. The team consisting of Michael Rahadiyan Wijaya, Racana Ayu Kaeksi, and Ervi Nur Fitrawan successfully passed various stages of the competition which took place from (4/7-8/8/2024). They demonstrated solid and innovative business analysis skills, as well as effective strategies in facing today’s business challenges.
The supervising lecturer for both teams, Intan Sartika Eris Maghfiroh, S.E., M.B.A., expressed her appreciation for this achievement.
“I am very proud of the efforts and dedication shown by the students. We have carried out various stages of mentoring, starting from concept preparation, presentation simulations, to analyzing feedback from external mentors. They have not only demonstrated strong technical skills but also extraordinary perseverance and teamwork,” she said.
She added that this achievement was the result of the hard work and fighting spirit of the students who were continuously guided and directed to achieve their best potential.
