The Participants of National GBQ VIII Virtual Competition Increased to 50 Percent

The participants of Gebyar Brawijaya Qur’ani (GBQ) National VIII experienced an increase of 50 percent to 1587 participants compared to last year, 541 participants.

Alhamdulillah, we thank Allah SWT for His grace, the number of participants who took part in the Gebyar Brawijaya Qur’ani VIII competition this year has increased tremendously,” said the Trustees of the Religious Arts UKM, Ilhamuddin Nukman S.Psi., MA., C. .Ht., C.MH.

The branches of the competition that are contested at the National Gebyar Brawijaya Qur’ani this year are Musabaqah Tilawatil Qur’an (MTQ), Musabaqah Syarhil Qur’an (MSQ), Musabaqah Khattil Qur’an (MKQ), Musabaqah Fahmil Qur’an (MFQ). ), Musabaqah Hifdzil Qur’an (MHQ) 5 Juz, Musabaqah Hifdzil Qur’an (MHQ) 10 Juz, Musabaqah Scientific Writing Al-Qur’an (MKTIA), Nasyid Group, and Al-Banjari.

Meanwhile, the MFQ, MHQ, and Banjari competitions are only held virtually this year.

GBQ is Qur’anic competition activity organized by the Religious Arts UKM, Universitas Brawijaya. The implementation also coincides with National Santri Day which falls on October 22, 2021 this year.

This year, Gebyar Brawijaya Qur’ani will be held virtually from 21-24 October 2021.

The activity was also filled with Lailatul Qira’ah and Qur’ani Talkshow, starring by Qori’ah Rofiatul Muna, the 1st Winner of the 2020 National MTQ Adult Recitations and two Qori’ah achievers from Universitas Brawijaya.

Gebyar Brawijaya Qur’ani is one of UB biggest events in the field of qur’ani and religious arts aimed at students, university students, and the general public throughout Indonesia.

The Rector of Universitas Brawijaya, Prof. Dr. Ir. Nuhfil Hanani AR., MS. in his speech said that Gebyar Brawijaya Qur’ani can improve the broadcast of Islam and become a place to establish friendship with all students and university students throughout Indonesia.
