Directorate of Career Development and Alumni Universitas Brawijaya (DPKA UB) together with PT. Pertamina Hulu Energi (PT. PHE) on Tuesday and Wednesday (16-17/May/2023) held Pertamina Goes To Campus 2023.
This activity, which was centered at the Samantha Krida Building, is one of the activities of PT. PHE as an effort in addition to introduce PT. PHE to the community and the younger generation, especially UB students, is also to provide education and insight about the oil and gas industry in Indonesia.
Present at the activity this time, Vice Rector for Student Affairs, Alumni and Entrepreneurship of UB Student, Dr. Setiawan Noerdajasakti, SH., MH., DPKA Director Kurniawan Puji Wicaksosono, SP., MP., Ph.D., and PHE Senior Manager External Communication and Stakeholder Relations Eviyanti Rofrida.
In his remarks the Vice Rector expressed his gratitude and appreciation for PT. PHE who has come and held Pertamina Goes To Campus activity for two days at UB. Reminding that similar activities always invite enthusiasm for UB students to explore information and insights about existing institutions or agencies.
“And Alhamdulillah, in 2023, we have had similar visits several times. In March, we had a visit from BUMN Goes To Campus, the building was packed with many people. And now we have Pertamina Goes To Campus, many are also coming. Therefore, this shows that Universitas Brawijaya students are very enthusiastic and highly appreciate the activities that go to campus organized by various institutions. Thank you for coming here,” said the Vice Rector.
It was also conveyed, that from the information conveyed by Mrs. Evi. It turns out that many of these UB alumni have actually led and made achievements at Pertamina Hulu Energi. Because of that, the Vice Rector advised that of course all the students later, if they can join Pertamina Hulu Energi, will carry out the achievements that have been achieved by their seniors. .
At the end of his speech the Vice Rector also advised UB students to maximize their opportunities in these two days of activities. Dig up as much information and insight as possible, especially about Pertamina.
“We have to be optimistic, there will be a question and answer session and so on. To the students, please ask the sources as much information as possible regarding Pertamina. About what job opportunities and so on will be like at Pertamina.”
“Please while Pertamina is here, usually alumni after graduation come everywhere looking for information on job vacancies and so on. But at this time, in Universitas Brawijaya, it is the place where we are looking for work, we come here to convey insights to students.”
“My hope is that we will take part in the activities for these two days, immediately invite friends to come here. There are still a few empty seats, come here to make the best of your time at this Pertamina Goes To Campus activity,” he hoped.
This time Pertamina Goes To Campus in UB held many activities, besides exhibitions there were also talk shows, workshops and games and quizzes that all participants could participate in.
Ms. Eviyanti Rofrida, Senior Manager External Communication and Stakeholder Relations of PHE herself, on the first day of the activity, also gave her presentation with the title “Pertamina’s Role in Maintaining National Energy Security”.
