The selection of the International Undergraduate Program (IUP) pathway for New Students of Universitas Brawijaya for the 2024/2025 academic year has officially opened for the first time.
After going through a series of administrative file selections, FISIP UB held an English-language interview selection process on Monday (5/13/2024), for prospective students who registered for the Communication Science and International Relations Study Program
Vice Dean for Academic Affairs of FISIP UB, Dr.rer Pol M. Faishal Aminuddin, S.S, M.Si, spoke up about the first selection process for the International Undergraduate Program (IUP) which is a special program for students who will later receive the obligation of International Exposure.
“So the forms can vary, there are joint degrees, double degrees, short courses, and everyone involved in this IUP is required to carry out International Exposure,” he said to FISIP Public Relations.
Furthermore, the curriculum used for the FISIP UB IUP program will be adjusted from the regular curriculum using English as the language of instruction, through lecturers from international experts from FISIP UB IUP partner universities, namely Australia, Malaysia and several other countries.
FISIP plans to open the International Undergraduate Program (IUP) selection process for new students at Universitas Brawijaya in the second period, which is around June-July 2024.
This year, FISIP has set a target of 25 students as the maximum quota in each IUP Class, both from the first and second period selection processes.
“From this IUP, we hope to strengthen international collaboration and cooperation at FISIP, and can produce graduates who have competence and can compete in the international job market,” he concluded.
For your information, there are 6 prospective students of the Communication Science Study Program and 12 prospective students of the International Relations Study Program who are undergoing the interview process.
