Faculty of Social and Political Sciences Universitas Brawijaya (FISIP UB) officially cooperates with BRIEFER. This collaboration was inaugurated online on Wednesday (10/8/2022) between the two parties.
One of these collaborations includes the recruitment of experts, professionals and specialists, both academics and alumni who are practitioners. The recruitment is to provide consulting services and more integrated business support in the consulting service industry through the BRIEFER platform.
The BRIEFER platform is a communication platform for Brands, Institutions and Individuals to collaborate with Experts, Professionals and Specialists who focus on the field of public relations, brands and other related communication industries.
Aditya Sani, Chief Executive Officer of BRIEFER explained that in line with the memorandum of understanding (MoU) with FISIP UB, BRIEFER as a communication platform is ready to become a forum for academics and practitioners from Brawijaya campus.
“The existence of this MoU marks our commitment to become a forum and recruit experts, professionals and specialists from FISIP campus Universitas Brawijaya, to jointly advance the digital communication ecosystem for consulting services which have considerable potential in the country,” said Aditya Sani.
He emphasized that the consulting service industry is one of the fastest growing industries, and is not only needed by businesses in big cities such as Surabaya, but also in secondary areas such as Malang city or other areas in East Java. Therefore, BRIEFER sees talent potential that is so strong that it needs to be supported by a digital communication ecosystem that becomes a space for growth, collaboration and creation.
“Therefore, the role of talent from academics as experts, professionals and specialists will help strengthen business growth, with a combination of knowledge and practice. This is one of our efforts to transform the consulting service industry for the better so as to produce optimal output. We hope that this collaboration will also support the government’s steps in improving the quality of human resources and further developing the potential of the digital economy in Indonesia,” added Aditya.
Dr. Sholih Mu’adi, SH., M.Si, Dean of FISIP UB, said that his party welcomes the collaboration with BRIEFER. According to him, academics should play an important role in the implementation of consulting services, through knowledge and standardization of competencies. This collaboration can help universities to produce graduates and research that has ongoing relevance to help the business world.
“Hopefully this collaboration can prepare FISIP UB students who are entrepreneurial, participative and professional and help solve the problem of mismatch between graduates’ abilities and industry needs that often occur,” added Dr. Sholih Mu’adi.
The collaboration began with the signing of a memorandum of understanding by Aditya Sani with Dr. Sholih Mu’adi online. The collaboration between BRIEFER and FISIP UB includes collaboration in the recruitment of experts, professionals and specialists on the BRIEFER platform.
