As an effort to improve the network, Universitas Brawijaya signed a memorandum of understanding and cooperation agreement with the Sumatra Institute of Technology (ITERA). This agreement was inaugurated on Monday (5/11) at the ITERA campus, Lampung.
This cooperation was inaugurated directly by Prof. Widodo, S.Si., M.Si., PhD MedSc together with the Chancellor of ITERA, Prof. Dr. I Nyoman Pugeg Aryantha, and attended by the Vice Chancellor for Cooperation and Internationalization Andi Kurniawan S.Pi., M.Eng.D.Sc, Dean of the Faculty of Agricultural Technology Prof. Yusuf Hendrawan, STP., M.App.Life.Sc., Ph.D,, and Agung Sugeng Widodo, S.T., M.T., Ph.D as Director of the Planning, Cooperation and Internationalization Directorate and Vice Chancellor for Academic and Student Affairs of Itera, Prof. Dr.Eng. Khairurrijal, M.Si., Vice Chancellor for Finance and General Affairs, Dr. Rahayu Sulistyorini, S.T., M.T., and the deans of faculties from both campuses.
From this MoU, the Chancellor showed enthusiasm to continue working together with Itera. “Hopefully we can coordinate with each other to achieve common goals. We hope this collaboration can have a positive impact on both campuses,” he said.
After signing the memorandum of understanding, UB Chancellor received plant seeds and the Itera Chancellor who handed them over symbolically. The group also visited the Integrated Waste and Agro Center and the Itera Botanical Gardens which are the centers of environmental management innovation on the campus. (UB PR/ Trans. Iir)
