Right together with the 11th Anniversary of the Faculty of Cultural Studies (FCS) Universitas Brawijaya (UB), the Darmasiswa RIProgram was closed. Taking place in the FCS A Building Hall on Monday (8/10/2020) the event was held offline which was attended by all Darmasiswa RI Program students who still stay in Indonesia along with dean and vice deans, and program committees, as well as online through the Zoom Meeting application which was attended by the lecturers, participants who have returned to their respective countries due to the impact of COVID-19, and the companion students (buddies).

The event was opened by singing the Indonesia Raya song and a speech from the Dean of FCS UB, Prof. Agus Suman, S.E., DEA. “In this year’s program there are many challenges and obstacles, so the program cannot run optimally. But I hope the students can still learn and understand about Indonesia,” said the dean of FCS UB.

“I hope that one day you can visit Indonesia again and you become the front person to introduce Indonesia and become the ambassador of Indonesia in your respective countries,” the message from the Dean of FCS UB was conveyed to the students of the Darmasiswa RI Program FCS UB.

At the event also shown a video impression and message of the students of the Darmasiswa RI Program FCS UB; student performances include essay reading by Ploykarat Panorod from Thailand, folklore reading by Shohei Senaha from Japan; the documentation video for one year studying at FCS UB; submission of graduation certificates, transcripts, and appreciation for outstanding students.
