In managing research and service activities, the Institute for Research and Community Service, Universitas Brawijaya (LPPM UB) is required to be able to present a visual representation of information and research data and community service in a graphic way. This is to show accurate information related to real data on numbers, achievements, and outcomes that can inform the success of the program with an informative and attractive display. On Tuesday (9/4) LPPM UB held “Infographics Training 2021” in the Environment of the Institute for Research and Community Service, Universitas Brawijaya” in the Shared Service Building, 6th Floor.
“The Data Speaks the Truth” explained the Secretary of LPPM UB, Dodi Wirawan Irawanto, SE., M.Com., PhD when opening this event. With the training, it is hoped that it can become a forum for participants to fulfill their internal data needs, by first processing the data into accurate and informative data. This training is carried out so that LPPM UB’s human resources, with their respective main duties, are able to support the speed of delivering information related to research, service and cooperation.
Furthermore, one of the presenters who is also the Deputy Head of UPT TIK Universitas Brawijaya, Adharul Muttaqin, ST., MT explained, the speed of fulfilling data requests by LPPM UB employees can be supported by regularity in inputting excel data information. Furthermore, the data can be processed on demand with the specified variables. As a closing, KKJF Research Field LPPM UB, Dr. Sc. Asep Awaludin Prihanto, S.Pi., MP, said that each participant could apply various stages in delivering data visualization in their daily work routines. So that when the data is requested, LPPM is ready to process the infographic data.
