Management team of Padjadjaran Journal of Dentistry at Faculty of Dentistry Padjadjaran University Bandung visited Agrivita Journal Faculty of Agriculture Brawijaya University. The visit was accepted at grounfloor of the central building of the faculty, Monday (29/Jan/2018). The team which is headed by drg. Tadeus Arufan Jasrin, MM as the Editor in Chief was directly accepted by Prof. Dr. Ir. Kuswanto, MP as Vice Dean I Faculty of Agriculture who also the Editor in Chief of Agrivita Journal, and was accompanied by Prof. Dr. Ir. Moch. Dawam Maghfoer, MS along with Dr.Agr. Hagus Tarno as an Editor at Agrivita Journal.
“Our visit aimed at exploring knowledge and imitating experience of Agrivita Journal Manager who have able to earn national accreditation and in international indexed,” as delivered by Tadeus Arufan Jasrin in his presentation. Hopefully, Padjadjaran Journal of Dentistry is able to be like Agrivita Journal. Apart of that, also want to know on how to increase author, increasing website visit statistics as well as earning information on journal indexing at Scopus.
In the occasion, Kuswanto explained about the history of Agrivita journal, how in the year 2010 could obtained international journal, Scopus indexed in 2013 and in 2014 indexed in SCIMago Journal Rank (SJR). Agrivita international journal as the only one journal on Agricultural Science that properly online managed as well as indexed in world ranking agencies like SCOPUS, ProQuest, International Scientific Indexing (ISI), Directory of Open Access Journal (DOAJ), SCImago Journal and Country Rank (SJR), so as able to provide important contribution in university rankings, especially in research and publishing component.
