The Community Service Team of the Faculty of Economics and Business guided by Dr. Wuryan Andayani S.E, M.Sc., Ak. assist Village Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) and Small and Medium Enterprises (SME). BUMDes and SMEs located in Belung Village, Poncokusumo District, Malang Regency are assisted to manage finances and register NIB (Business Identification Number).
According to Azhari Satria Nugraha, an Accounting study program student, after an evaluation, BUMDes still do not have the ability to manage finances in a structured and systematic way. Besides Azhari, members of this group are Azizah Bilqis Putri Suvy from the Management study program.
Ngatuwat, BUMDes Finance Director said “The HR from BUMDes currently has no financial background so it is hoped that the PKM FEB UB team can help with this,” he said.
In addition, the PKM FEB UB team also held an NIB (Business Identification Number) registration program for SMEs in Belung Village. After conducting discussions with Anneta as Chair of PKK (Family Empowerment and Welfare), it was found that SMEs really wanted to have an NIB in order to be able to obtain a business license.
