The Inauguration of Student Organization of the Faculty of Law for the 2024 Period

The Faculty of Law, Brawijaya University (FH UB) held an inauguration event for student organizations for the 2024 period. The event which was held on Saturday (24/2/2024), in the FH UB Auditorium presented selected students who will lead and become administrators of various student organizations in the faculty environment.

There are 30 (thirty) student organizations at FH UB that have been inaugurated, consisting of the Student Executive Board (BEM), Student Representative Council (DPM), Autonomous Institutions (LO), Semi-Autonomous Institutions (LSO), Concentration Associations, and Communication Forums (Forkom) of Masters and Doctoral degrees.

In his speech, the Dean of the Faculty of Law, Brawijaya University, Dr. Aan Eko Widiarto, S.H., M.Hum, hopes that the new administrators can carry out their duties well and become role models for other students. “Management is not just a position, but a responsibility to provide the best for the future progress of the faculty and university,” said Dr. Aan.

Dr. Aan also emphasized the important role of student organizations in helping create a conducive academic environment.

“I hope that student organizations can become a forum for students to develop their potential and contribute positively to society,” he added.

Furthermore, Dr. Aan also hopes that this year’s institutional management can organize international level activities to bring FH UB to become the best Law Faculty at world level. “I also hope that student organizations can organize spectacular activities at the international level to make FH UB reach 100th place in the world,” said Dr. Aan.
