Nuffic Neso Indonesia is a non-profit organization which is officially appointed and funded by the government of the Netherlands to become its higher education representative in Indonesia. Neso (Netherlands Education Support Office) Indonesia tasked to give information about the Netherlands Higher Education for Indonesian community, to facilitate and to help its higher education in conducting their activities in Indonesia. Neso also organizes scholarship programs for Indonesian communities, like Studeren in Nederland (StuNed), Orange Tulip Scholarship (OTS), Netherlands Fellowship Programme (NFP), PhD Dikti, LPDP, scholarships from the Netherlands Higher Education, Beasiswa Unggulan of the Ministry of Education and Culture, Erasmus Mundus/Erasmus Plus scholarship, etc.
In collaboration with International Office (IO) of University of Brawijaya (UB), Nuffic Neso Indonesia organized socialization about study in the Netherlands on Friday (20/May 2016). The presentation conducted by Indhira Sembiring Meliala as Nuffic Neso Indonesia representative, and attended by 55 students throughout faculties at UB. Located at Seminar Room of Building V of Faculty of Animal Husbandry UB, the socialization aimed for UB students who have interests to pursue study to the Netherlands.
Faculty of Animal Husbandry is one of faculties that have many alumni from the Dutch Universities. In addition, also lots of young generations of Faculty of Animal Husbandry who are interested to pursue study to the windmill country. One of them is Galuh, a year 2013 bachelor’s students who have been actively seeking information regards to master program study at University of Wageningen. She was interested to pursue her study in Animal Husbandry subject in the Netherlands after obtaining supports from Dr. Simon J. Oosting, one of lecturers at University of Wageningen who several years ago had a research at Faculty of Animal Husbandry of University os Brawijaya. [dita/Humas UB/trans. Denok]
