Selection of Achieved Student Event (PILMAPRES) of Brawijaya University was completed last Wednesday (20/3). Taking place on the 6th Floor of the Brawijaya University Rectorate Building, the final round of selection brought together 7 finalists from all faculties, both undergraduate and diploma levels.
At this stage, each finalist from undergraduate level is required to present various creative ideas in the form of a poster, while delegates from the Vocational Faculty must present innovation prototypes in front of the jury. After going through the assessment process for superior achievements, creative ideas and English language skills aspects, the jury decided M. Nizam Zulfi Zakaria from the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences as the main achieved students (mawapres) for the undergraduate level. Meanwhile, the diploma level was achieved by Alqam Latisa Octada.
Second place was won by Nazhira Mustaqilla from the Faculty of Economics, third place was won by Christopher Kuncoro Johan from the Faculty of Medicine, M. Restu Akbar Ismail from the Faculty of Administrative Sciences as the 1st runner up; Andira Rahmawati from the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences as the 2nd runner-up; and Ibnus Shabil from the Faculty of Cultural Studies as the 3rd runner-up.
Currently, both Nizam and Alqam are preparing themselves for the LLDIKTI VII regional level selection which is scheduled for April 22-24 2024. To the two delegates, UB’s Vice Rector for Student Affairs, Dr. Setiawan Noerdajasakti, S.H., M.H advised to stay enthusiastic. “Continue to maintain your enthusiasm and give your best effort.
