Your Motorcyle Crashes on Campus? Automotive Engineering Division Ready to Help

HMM's automotive division provides motor vehicles service support For Universitas Brawijaya (UB) community academics whose car or motorcycle crashed on campus, do not need to worry anymore. Just go to Automotive Division of Engineering Student Association (HMM) Department of Mechanical Engineering UB workshop.

Recently mechanics of Automotive Division opened the motor service for minor damage which located in the ground floor HMM. Their service is open every day during working hours, at 9 am to 5 pm WIB.

The services-support being offered are including inspection and oil change, cleaning and jetting, electrical motors check up, brakes setting, fuel-lines examination, adjustment and lubrication of motorcycle chains, and other services. Even if you are frantically looking for air compressor when the motor tyre is deflated, the automotive division also provides it.

“Anyway, we are committed to help students so their study is not to be bothered if their motor is broke down,”,” explained Andriawan Reno, a member of the Automotive Division, Tuesday, March 15, 2016, interviewed in the HMM Mechanical Engineering UB.

This service programs supported by adequate workshop equipment and 24 experienced mechanics. Considering they are a part of GoKart Team UB that often competed in various national competitions.

Even in their recruitment, at least they must have a basic skill in automotive and understand the basic motor vehicles service. Beside, the automotive division also often receives formal and non-formal training.

“We guarantee that its cheap, not too expensive if you compare to other workshops,” said Reno.

Reno explained that the service fees in addition to improve the entrepreneurial skills, it also help the activities of the Automotive Division. Funds obtained from the service fees, are used to fund GoKart UB Team when competing in various competitions.
