Fapet Student Develops the Village Tourism Potential in West Java

Dina Marliana, a student of the Faculty of Animal Husbandry Universitas Brawijaya (Fapet UB) participates in Independent Internship Program Pigijo Vanguard in Tourism Village. This activity is the implementation of Independent Learning Independent Campus (MBKM) which will be carried out from January 17 to February 15 2022.

Pigijo collaborates with Nusantara Tourism Village (Dewisnu) of West Java, which focuses on three tourist villages in Sukabumi area. Namely, Raden Village – Cisande Village, Lahang Village – Gede Pangrango Tourism Village, and Palapah Cultural Village – Waluran Village.

The participants live together with the villagers to learn about the character and the surrounding conditions. As an effort to develop the potential of the village through digitalization as a marketing tool.

Dina or commonly called Marel, became the chief of Cisande Tourism Village internship group. Together with her team, she conducted research on the potential of natural resources and human resources, as well as innovating both digital and non-digital. Besides, they also held several activities, such as division socialization, sakola barudak, parents’ sakola, and events.

Then, they will innovate to make Cisande Tourism Village tour packages that can be ordered online at pigijo.com website.
