The Ekalavya Suara Brawijaya Marching Band won the general championship in the Open Division in the Indonesia Virtual Style 35 of 2023. This competition was held virtually by Udayana University, Bali, Saturday (8/7/2023).
Head of Student Activity Unit (UKM) Ekalavya Suara Brawijaya, Randie Rabsanjani said that the struggle of UB marching band team was not in vain after setting aside 20 marching units from various branches of the competition.
“Fruit leaves no results. With careful preparation and hard training for two months, the UB team won the general championship,” said Randie.
The predicates of the points of the competition won are as follows:
COLOR GUARD: 1st place in Color Guard Contest, 1st place for Individual Solo Flag (Randie Rabsanjani), 2nd place for Individual Mix Equipment (Dimas Ageng Prayoga), 5th place finalist for Individual Solo Flag (Ersya Putri Andini).
PERCUSSION: 1st place in Percussion Ensemble, 1st place in Individual Snare Drum (Taufik Rachman Anshori), 2nd place in Individual Marimba (Natalia Angelina Indraputri Yusuf), 3rd place in Individual Multi Tom (Muhammad Raflie Chandra), Finalist in the top 5 of Individual Snare drum (Nafiri Ilal) , Top 5 Finalist Individual Snare Drum (Dary Fauzan Tenera), Top 5 Finalist Individual Marimba (Qony Azkiyah).
BRASSLINE: 3rd Place in Brass Ensemble, 5th Finalist in Individual High/Middle Brass (Rizky Andika).
