Delia, a student of the Study Program of Japanese Literature (SPJL), Faculty of Cultural Studies (FCS) Universitas Brawijaya (UB) class of 2017 participated in the Winter Course program which was held online. This event is a short-term exchange which is one of the annual programs of Hiroshima University.
This year, there are two universities in Indonesia participating in the program, namely UB and Universitas Darma Persada. This Winter Course activity is in the form of an online lecture in which participants learn about Japanese culture, the Japanese language, and the history of Hiroshima city.
This activity was held for two weeks in February 2021 through the Zoom Platform. Delia said that the Winter Course program was an additional gift for her because she became the champion in the Hiroshima University and Universitas Darma Persada Speech Contest.
“I get a lot of new things to learn, things I didn’t learn at UB. Even though it’s only two weeks and was held online, I still feel that this program is truly an unforgettable experience,” said Delia. [DTS]
