Karina Pravita Putri, a fourth semester student at the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, successfully passed IISMA (Indonesian International Student Mobility Award) Awardee 2023 program and continued her studies at Pontificia University, Universidad Catolica de Chile.
Karina along with four students from other tertiary institutions, Wednesday (26/7/2023), took part in IISMA 2023 Pre-Departure Briefing Chile online. This activity is facilitated by UB International Office as the host. Presented as a guest speaker was Rizkita Murwani, Third Secretary of Indonesian Embassy (KBRI) in Santiago, Republic of Chile.
This young diplomat said that the destination university in Chile responded positively to the presence of Indonesian students.
“We had a meeting with the Rector of Catolica, they said they agreed if Indonesia would send more awardees, if possible ten,” she said.
In his presentation, this young diplomat conveyed the documents that had to be prepared, the season and the hotline that had to be contacted when they were in an important condition. She conveyed, students should prepare documents such as passports, vaccine documents, visas, travel insurance documents and fill out online immigration declarations.
Meanwhile, for security guarantees for all Indonesian citizens, Indonesian Embassy provides a self-report service which is available online through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ website.
