Malang, September 29, 2023 – Being a student is indeed a privilege that not everyone can feel. Therefore, every student should do positive things to increase their value, such as joining organizations, committees, and participating in various competitions. This was proven by the Student Delegation Team of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Brawijaya (FEB UB), who once again proved their achievements in the competition.
On September 15-16, 2023, the FEB UB Student Delegation Team actively participated in the KSEI Youth Innovation Festival 2023 held by Prof.K.H Syaifuddin Zuhri Islamic State University Purwokerto, Central Java. The competition was themed “The role of the younger generation in Developing The Islamic Economy to Achieve The 2045 Megatrend.”
The delegation from Universitas Brawijaya sent two teams to compete in different branches of the competition, namely the Scientific Paper and Business Plan teams. Each team faced a similar series of competitions, including preliminary rounds and presentations. The final competition took place over two days, with the first day filled with self-development seminars and presentations of work, and the second day with book review seminars and award presentations.
The UB delegation team gave their best in every stage of the competition, from the preliminaries to the presentation of the work. And the results were very satisfying, because the Scientific Paper and Business Plan teams from UB won brilliant achievements.
First place in Scientific Writing was won by a team consisting of Tika Yusfi Afkarina (Islamic Economics/215020500111038), Hamdan Fuadi (Islamic Economics/215020501111023), and Dhaifullah Rahim Hudaya (Islamic Economics/215020501111009).
Meanwhile, the second place for Business Plan was won by a team consisting of Siti Ramdhaniati Azzahra (Accounting/215020300111101), Shahrul Hazni (Management/225020207111026), and Mukhammad Rizal (Islamic Economics/215020500111017).
This achievement not only carved the good name of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Brawijaya, but also became an inspiration for other students to continue to compete and excel at the national level. Hopefully this achievement will motivate other UB students to continue to strive and contribute in developing their potential and achieving greater goals.
