Batu, November 26, 2024 – Ainy Novitasari, a Master’s Program student at the Faculty of Animal Science, Universitas Brawijaya (Fapet UB), has once again made an outstanding achievement. She received a prestigious award in the Agricultural Business Development category, presented by the Department of Agriculture and Food Security of Batu City. The award was handed over during the Abang Tani Class 2024 Appreciation Event held at Graha Pancasila, Among Tani City Hall, Batu City.
This event marked the culmination of a series of socialization and workshops conducted earlier. Opened directly by the Acting Mayor of Batu, the event exemplified a Hexahelic collaboration involving local government agencies, the Department of Agriculture and Food Security, the Economic and Natural Resources Division, PLUT Batu City, the Creative Economy Committee, Bank Indonesia, Bank Jatim, and Tanikaya. The agenda aimed to recognize young individuals with innovative ideas and strong dedication to maximizing the potential of Batu City’s agricultural sector.
Ainy, the founder of AI Farm, a modern farm specializing in dairy cows and goats, stood out as one of the award recipients. In her statement, Ainy shared that AI Farm was established to address the challenges faced by modern farmers. “We are committed to providing practical, technology-driven solutions while empowering millennial farmers to thrive,” she stated.
Abang Tani Class, the training program that Ainy participated in, is an initiative designed to equip young farmers with knowledge of advanced technologies, agribusiness management, and digital marketing strategies.
The Head of the Department of Agriculture and Food Security of Batu City expressed his appreciation for Ainy’s dedication. Through AI Farm, Ainy has demonstrated that the younger generation can drive transformative progress in the agricultural sector. “Ainy’s innovations through AI Farm serve as a tangible example that the agricultural sector can evolve into a more modern and sustainable industry with the support of young people,” he remarked.
