LTMPT Conducts Monitoring and Evaluation of UTBK Implementation in UB

Manager of Public Relations and Promotion of LTMPT, Dr. Izmaini Zain Monitored the Implementation of UTBK in UB, Wednesday (18/05/2021).

The Higher Education Entrance Test Institute (LTMPT) conducts monitoring and evaluation (monev) on the implementation of Computer-Based Written Examination (UTBK) at Universitas Brawijaya (UB), Wednesday (18/05/2022).

Monitoring and evaluation is carried out directly by the Manager of Public Relations and Promotion of LTMPT, Dr. Izmaini Zain. She conducts monev in four locations, namely the Faculty of Medicine, the Faculty of Administrative Sciences, the Faculty of Computer Science, and the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences.

The monev activity was accompanied by UB Rector, Prof. Dr. Ir. Nuhfil Hanani AR., MS, Director of the Directorate of Administration and Academic Services Dr. Rosihan Asmara, S.E., MP, Secretary of the Directorate of Administration and Academic Services, Heri Prawoto Widodo, S.Sos., M.A.B, and the Head of Public Relations and Archives Subdivision, Kotok Gurito, S.E.

Ismaini said that the implementation of UTBK in UB was in accordance with the Standard Operational Procedures (POB) set by LTMPT.

“What I saw earlier was that the participants’ bags were placed in the transit room, on the seats that were numbered, then the participants entered the exam location without carrying their bags, and were checked with a metal detector. In this way, it is a precaution and greatly minimizes fraud,” said Ismaini.

She also appreciated the making of location plans, signboards, and descriptions of rooms at several points in UB.

“The floor plans and location instructions are complete, as well as the supervisors and officers who were present before six o’clock, it was very good,” said the lecturer in ITS.

The Rector welcomed this LTMPT monev visit. He said that UB facilitates the implementation of full UTBK on campus, with computers belonging to the campus lab.

“We have checked all the preparations since before the UTBK implementation, hopefully the UTBK in UB will run in an orderly and smooth,” said the Rector. [Irene/ Humas UB/ Trans. Iir]
