On Thursday (12/10) the Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM) Universitas Brawijaya (UB) held activities at the Atria Hotel. The activity carried out was the Conference on Youth Community Leadership & Engagement (CYCLE 4.0). This activity is a series of activities from the Student Program to Build 1000 Villages.
The activity was opened directly by the Vice Rector V (WR V) for Research and Innovation, Prof. Unti Ludigdo was accompanied by the Head of IRCS UB, Prof. Luqman Hakim. It was attended by hundreds of participants consisting of lecturers, students from UB and other universities online and offline. Present as speaker at this International Conference was Dr. Mohd. Zulhairi Mohd. Yusoff (Putra University of Malaysia), Dr. Louisse Ann Carandang (SEARCA), Andi Sudjana Putra, Ph.D (National University of Singapore), and Prof. Mangku Purnomo, S.P., M.Si, Ph.D (UB).
In his speech, VR V said that he welcomed this activity. It is hoped that this activity will be able to provide motivation to spur the creativity of the younger generation for future development. The important thing to have is a good leadership spirit and broad relationships. The speakers who were presented really mastered many things in providing various motivations and knowledge to share with the participants who were UB’s younger generation.
