The Center for Professional Education Development of LP3M Universitas Brawijaya (UB) carries out virtual guidance and counseling training activities, Monday (16/11/2020), with the aim of improving the ability of academic supervisors.
The activity was carried out virtually through Zoom application and opened directly by the secretary of LP3M Ir, Didik Suprayogi PhD.
Starting the activity, Didik conveyed several important things related to assignments and experiences while providing counseling while accompanying students as an introduction.
“Students have a number of very diverse problems. Starting from problems related to academic activities to family problems. However, most of them feel they do not fit into a chosen study program, “said Didik.
Didik added that as an academic supervisor, lecturer must be able to be sensitive and care about the complaints conveyed by students during academic activities.
“Beside trying to listen on what students feel, we should also be able to provide at least solutions and things that lighten the burden felt by students,” he said.
