Five works of Innovators from Universitas Brawijaya were included in the Business Innovation Center-Ministry of Research and Technology, at Indonesian Innovation Program 2020.
These five works were selected from a total of 412 proposals submitted by various institutions, including universities, government-owned research agencies and private companies.
And the total number of works selected was 112 Indonesian Innovations 2020.
This selection is based on several online stages and clarification in determining innovations that have the opportunity to get mediation / intermediation in an effort to downstream innovation products to industry.
Vice Rector for Academic Affairs, Prof. Dr. Aulanni’am, drh., DES hopes that every year there will be more innovative works of UB Academic Community that get recognition and can be used by the community.
“This is mainly because UB already has good stages regarding innovation management and its down streaming,” he said.
The Indonesian Innovation Program was first launched in 2008 by the Business Innovation Center-Ministry of Research and Technology, and 2020 is the 12th year with the launch of 112 Indonesian Innovations.
Meanwhile, the five selected works of UB innovator are Dr. Anang Lastriyanto with Four in One Technology on Honey Processing (Food Security); Sasongko Aji Wibowo, STP through the Innovation to Increase the Number of Tubers with Cassava Seed Binder Technology (Food Security).
Then, Prof. Dr. Aulanni’am, drh., DES, et al with an Early Detection Tool Autoimmune Thyroid Disease Using TPO and TSHR Rapid Tests for Pregnant Women: Towards Increasing Quality and Competitive Human Resources (Health Technology and Medicines).
Then, Prof. Dr. dr. Djanggan Sargowo, Sp.PD., Sp.JP (K) and dr. Ardian Rizal, Sp.JP (K) through the Development of Peptide Polysaccharide Potential from Ganoderma lucidum Mycelia Extract as Secondary Prevention Efforts and Improvement of Quality of Life for NSTEMI, STEMI and Heart Failure Patients (Health Technology and Medicines); Vian Dedi Pratama, et al with an Automatic Turtle Egg Incubator (Matigator) Engineered for Android-based male and female hatchlings.
