SMA Negeri 4 Kediri 10th grade students visits to Faculty of Animal Husbandry University of Brawijaya (Fapet UB) on Tuesday (15/Mar/2016), that followed by 103 students along with 5 companion teachers. The visit was a part of Malang-based colleges visit series such as State University of Malang, Health Polytechnic of Malang and Brawijaya University. It aims to provide information regards to college world and to motivate students pursuing their studies after graduation.
Kediri troupe was warmly welcomed by Vice Dean III on Student Affairs Dr. Ir. Osfar Sjofjan, MSc who also opened the event accompanied by Prof. Dr.Sc.Agr. Sc. Ir. Suyadi, MS (the Dean) and Dr. Ir. Purwadi, MS (a Technology of Livestock Product Lecturer). According to Purwadi, such visit was good to create students’ mindset who intends to pursue study at college to for the brighter future. On the occasion, the Dean presented profile of Brawijaya University in general and Faculty of Animal Husbandry in detailed regards to its vision and mission, achievements, domestic and overseas partnership and also outcome of Faculty of Animal Husbandry.
“We are very enthusiast and excited, it is the first time we visit Brawijaya. It turns out Brawijaya is a big campus. We hope 2 more years can be Brawijaya students,” said a participants. [dita/Humas UB/trans. Denok]
