
The University Secretary of Universitas Brawijaya (Sekun UB) visited the Study Program Outside the Main Campus (PSDKU) UB Kediri, Thursday (11/14/2024). This visit was carried out in order to equalize campus service standards.
“As part of UB, UB Kediri needs to have the same standards as UB Center regarding services in all aspects. So that through this common perception, it can have an impact on the increasing number of enthusiasts and generating income for UB Kediri,” said the University Secretary, Dr. Tri Wahyu Nugroho, S.P., M.Si when giving his remarks.
Also present on this occasion were the Head of Division and Head of Subdivision under the auspices of Sekun, namely the Legal Division (DH), the Division of Administration and Household Affairs (DTUK), the Division of Information and Public Relations (DIK), the Division of Leadership Secretariat and Protocol (DSPP), and the Division of Safety, Occupational Health, and Environment (K3L).
Several things conveyed by Sekun regarding service standards that need to be considered include the campus security and order system, archiving management, protocol activity procedures, complaint handling, and public relations.

The Director of PSDKU UB Kediri, Prof. Dr. Ir. Sholeh Hadi Pramono, M.S appreciated this visit.
“I really welcome this visit, because it forms a common perception of service standards and management in various fields,” he said.

On this occasion, Sholeh invited Sekun and his entourage to see firsthand the learning, research, and community service processes at UB Kediri. Visiting the laboratory on campus and the field laboratory. This lab is to accommodate student practicum activities in the fields of agro-complex, agribusiness, agro-ecotechnology, socio-economic fisheries, aquaculture, and animal husbandry.
“In the future, we will equip students from an academic aspect adjusted to what stakeholders demand and the build of technological development. So there needs to be an improvement in the curriculum, strategy methods, and learning strategies, and practices as a basis for skills that must be possessed in the world of work,” explained Sholeh.
Until now, PSDKU UB Kediri has 1,900 students in the Animal Husbandry, Agribusiness, Socio-Economic Fisheries, Aquaculture, and Agro-ecotechnology Study Programs, and has graduated 517 students. [Irene/UB PR/ Trans. Iir]
