Vice President R.I., Prof. Dr. K.H. Makruf Amin is expected to attend the guest lecture (general stadium) on religious moderation for UB new students, batch 2020-2021
The hope was conveyed by the Dean of FISIP-UB, Dr. Sholih Mu’adi, SH, M.Si during a visit and gathering to the Special Staff of Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia, K.H. Robikin Emhas, SH., M.H., Friday (11/9/2020).
In the meeting, the Dean of FISIP UB who was accompanied by Vice Dean III, A. Muwafik Saleh, M.Si and the Head of BPPM, Dr. Moch. Fauzie Said, M. Si conveyed the invitation and hopes for the Vice President to attend online.
Since the request is the first step, the UB Rector will officially send a letter of request to the Vice President.
“The Dean of FISIP will come before the Rector to report the results of the visit to Jakarta. Certainly, the Rector will follow up, “explained Fauzie.
In the meeting, Robikin Emhas admitted that religious moderation needs to be an important guide for new students amidst various issues and problems of intolerance and radicalism today.
Because after all religious moderation, there is a commitment to nationality, non-violence, accommodating local culture and tolerance.
In this occasion also, the Head of the Supervisory Board of LPP RRI, Mistam, was present. The meeting also produced several results related to the pilot collaboration between FISIP UB and LPP RRI.
The collaboration includes creating more innovative distance learning tools and student apprenticeships.
