Visit from Badan Siber dan Sandi Negara (BSSN) to UB Library

On October 28, 2021, UB Library received a visit from Badan Siber dan Sandi Negara (BSSN). Badan Siber dan Sandi Negara (BSSN) is a government agency of the Republic of Indonesia that was established in 2017. This institution is tasked with implementing cyber security effectively and efficiently by utilizing, developing, and consolidating all elements related to cyber security.

BSSN visits UB’s library consisting of 3 people, led by Mrs. Nurniawati Zebua, Kasubbag TU Deputi 1 and received directly by the Head of UB Library. The background of this BSSN visit is in the context of revamping and managing the Library at BSSN. Meanwhile, the purpose of the visit is to find out more about the proper and proper management of the library at Brawijaya University as a reference for future library management.

BSSN wants to see how the library is managed by doing a library tour. Mr. Agung, as the Coordinator for User Services, guides the library tour starting from the entrance. Pak Agung explained how the offline visit procedure was during the pandemic. As previously reported, UB Library has opened offline services since October 11, 2021.

The library tour continues to the Circulation Room. Pak Agung explained to BSSN about the procedure for borrowing and returning books. Then proceed to the Reserve Room, White Label, Serial and Thesis Room to see the printed collections owned by UB Library.
