Universitas Brawijaya (UB) held Aldera Public Lecture and Book Review “Portrait of the Youth Political Movement 1993-1999. The activity was held in the UB Faculty of Communication Sciences Algorithm Auditorium on Monday (10/4/2023).
Presented as a speaker at this guest lecture were Dr. Pius Lustrilanang, S.IP., M.Sc., CFrA., CSFA Member VI of BPK RI. The event was officially opened by UB Rector, Prof. Widodo, M.Si., Ph.D.Med.Sc.
The Rector welcomed the current activities and said it was important to continue to promote reform and democracy.
“The role and position of the younger generation is very important for changes to be good. Various issues are not only national, but also global to generate and oversee change at various levels. The struggle of ideas and insights will be very interesting to continue rolling out to Indonesia’s young generation,” said Prof. Widodo
Besides Pius, there were also several speakers, namely Dr. Suryadi, MS, a senior lecturer at the Faculty of Administrative Sciences and Wawan Sobari, S.IP., MA, Ph.D, a lecturer at UB Faculty of Social and Political Sciences.
A total of 500 people consisting of students and the general public were present as participants. The event was also filled with a Reels contest with a prize of Rp. 1 million regarding Aldera Public lecture and book review. (PON/Humas UB/ Trans. Iir)
