Ahmad Fatoni, Saturday (5/18/2024), underwent the graduation procession for the 15th period of the 2023/2024 academic year at Samantha Krida, Universitas Brawijaya.
The graduate from the Faculty of Animal Husbandry graduated with 3.99 GPA and a study period of 3 years and 4 months from the Animal Husbandry study program.
Ahmad said that graduating with 3,99 GPA (Cumulative Achievement Index) was not his target.
“For me, GPA flows because there is no previous target, living the routine of a student in general, the important thing is to enjoy it,” he said.
For him, there are no special tips when studying, the important thing is a serious commitment to studying. In addition, always learn from mistakes in the previous semester.
In addition to studying, he tries to find additional income, reported from UB public relations release when interviewing him on Friday (5/17/2024) There are at least four jobs that he has done, namely a Shopeefood driver, a paper and print business, a college assignment jockey, and a practicum assistant.
He became a Shopeefood driver to increase his income for daily needs. He did this job in semesters 6 and 7.
Meanwhile, he started this paper and print business after seeing an opportunity for students who needed margin paper in working on practicum reports, so he got the idea to open a paper and printing purchasing service.
In addition, he has also been a college assignment jockey. “This jockey means helping friends complete college assignments or find articles for their thesis,” he said.
In addition, he has also been an assistant in Poultry Management Science because he previously had a foundation during his internship. He said that during his studies he had interned in two places, namely the Artificial Insemination Center, Lembang and the Edu Farmers International Foundation which handles broiler chickens.
He was also proud that he was also a scholarship recipient from two types of scholarship providers, namely the Medion Scholarship and the Ikatan Brawijaya Sanggat Scholarship.
Although at the beginning of his studies he was not entirely sure that he would like the world of Animal Husbandry, because his first choice was Veterinary Medicine, but after going through it, it turned out to be exciting.
“Especially when I had the experience of joining Prof. Trinil Susilawati’s research,” he said briefly
Likewise, when working on his thesis, he really enjoyed being guided by Dr. Aulia Puspita Anugrah Yekti who was very supportive and happy with the friendly atmosphere so that the final assignment felt fast and on time.
Furthermore, that Ahmad also achieved achievements during his studies.
Some of the achievements he has achieved include 1st Place in the BAPPEDA Rembang Kreanova Competition, Silver Medal Indonesian Youth Scientist Association and 1st Place in Fapet Fun and Fit Short Story Competition. [sitirahma/ UB PR/ Trans. Iir]
