The International Relations Office (IRO), Faculty of Computer Science, Universitas Brawijaya (FILKOM UB) on Saturday and Sunday (27/7-28/7/2024) held a Business Process Improvement Preparation Consignment. The activity carried out by IRO FILKOM UB aims to discuss the Main Performance Indicators (IKU) for the Work Programs (Proker) of Foreign Students, Foreign Lecturers, International Cooperation, Student Inbound and Outbound, Joint Research, and Joint Publication.
The activity which was carried out at Golden Hill, Batu City was opened by Dr. Eng. Ir. Herman Tolle, S.T., M.T., as the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs. He hopes that the activities carried out this weekend can produce maximum outcomes.
“Activities managed by IRO, student mobility, both inbound and outbound will be supported so that they can be realized. The global partnership between FILKOM and foreign universities that has been established will be maximized. IRO also has a big role in developing capacity building for stakeholders,” he said.
The Head of IRO FILKOM UB, M. Ali Fauzi, S.Kom., on the next agenda delivered several presentations of materials for consignment that must be implemented immediately and prepared ahead of the achievement of Quarter 3 and 4.
“This activity has several objectives, first to align the work objectives of IRO FILKOM UB. So that the efforts made are in line and well coordinated, the work units have the same understanding of the goals and targets to be achieved. The quality of education is maintained and IRO is tasked with maintaining this mandate. Second, as a plan for the future, the IRO framework must be clear, templates for all cooperation agreements can be available. Third, the urgency of implementing Special Courses in Quarter 3 and 4 which must be prepared carefully. And fourth, the division of tasks and responsibilities among team members, so that there is no confusion and to ensure that each team member knows what to do and when to do it,” he concluded.
