IKA UB Commitment Together to Help Alumni and Build the Country

In commemoration of the 61st Anniversary of Brawijaya University (UB), UB Alumni Association (IKA) carried out activities at UB Samantha Kridha Building. The activity carried out was the “61st Brawijaya University Anniversary Alumni Gathering “, on Saturday (16/12).

The activity was opened by the General Chairperson of IKA UB for the 2023-2027 period, Ir. Mohammad Zainal Fatah. Currently serves as Secretary General of the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR). In his speech, Zainal Fatah welcomed all administrators and members of IKA UB at the commemoration event of UB’s 61st anniversary. UB has currently experienced many changes. Positive changes both in terms of physical and performance.

Many generations have come and changed over time. Currently, UB has become one of the major universities, with the number of students entering this year reaching more than fifteen thousand students. All IKA UB members need to work together to help UB students get good things after studying at UB.

“All of us as members of IKA UB need to work together, join hands, and work together to ensure that our younger students who have studied at UB can immediately enter and get good jobs. IKA UB will provide guidance, training and certification to students who will enter the workforce. The hope is that they will be able to enter the world of work, a new world that is different from the world of education during the lecture period. Hopefully the large number of IKA UB networks can help and progress together with all UB alumni in order to grow UB in the future,” explained the man who is familiarly called Cak Fatah.

On the same occasion, UB Rector, Prof. Widodo expressed his thanks to all administrators, IKA UB members and Alumni who were present because they always think about various things to continue to help grow UB. All alumni have committed to unite and work to grow UB and develop the country.

“We would like to thank all the alumni who attended. All alumni through IKA UB have committed to unite and work together to advance UB. In addition, all UB alumni are also committed to continuing to work to build the nation and state. United we can,” said Widodo. [ron/pon/UB PR/ Trans. Iir]
