Students and Lecturers of the Faculty of Agriculture have collaborated to enliven the Faculty of Agriculture’s Anniversary (Dies Natalis) through an activity titled Feast of Agriculture (FOA): Gemilang Gemintang Aruna Sinta.

Leony Riska as the Chairperson of the Student Executive Board said that this year’s FOA x Dies Natalis was different from previous years since it involved a committee from students. This event was more open so that agricultural students would be more familiar with their own faculty.

“For this year, it is more open. So agricultural students can be more aware of their faculty’s 64th anniversary,” she said.

Regarding the preparation itself, Leony said that it was quite mature. This is because at least a month has been spent preparing for it, starting from the Open Recruitment of the committee to running the preparation for the event.

Leony, who is also a student of the Faculty of Animal Husbandry, explained that from the evaluation of the FOA x Dies Natalis in 2024, she hopes that in the following years the FOA x Dies Natalis event can be more open and involve many people.

“Including agricultural students themselves, from this event they can learn more about their own faculty. However, this year’s event brought quite good progress,” said Leony.
