FISIP UB has the opportunity to be the place for TVRI East Java talk show program to be held. The recording process was also carried out on the appreciation stage, Wednesday (29/6/2022).
Three speakers from FISIP UB were able to have a good dialogue with the theme “Future Leaders in the Eyes of Millennial”. The three speakers were Fitri Hariana Oktaviani, SS., SE., M.Commun., Ph.D, a lecturer in the Communication Science Study Program. Then the President of the Student Executive, Muhammad Nurcholis Mahendra who is also a student of FISIP. And Mocahamd Bagas Aditya, president of BEM FISIP.
The Producer of Beranda Kampus TVRI East Java, Iwan Tuwanakotta, said that this talk show is a new program that was initiated less than a year ago.
“We created this event to accommodate student voices, whether it be in the form of aspirations, ideas, criticism in the era of democracy,” he said.
Iwan explained that this program was created so that students as young intellectuals and millennial are more accommodated in voicing their aspirations.
While choosing FISIP as a place for talkshows, Iwan explained because he saw that so far UB, especially FISIP, was able to produce graduates who had quality and integrity.
“Today, there are two speakers from students and one from lecturers so that the discussions which are built remain on the campus-style intellectual line,” he explained.
Beranda Kampus event itself, said Iwan, has been going on for 8 episodes involving several universities in East Java such as Wijaya Kusuma University Surabaya, Dinamika University, Airlangga University, Widya Mandala University and currently Universitas Brawijaya Malang.
