KIM Fapet UB Champions Al Qur’an Scientific Writing Competition

Delegates of Faculty of Animal Husbandry at LKTA IPCStudent Scientific Group (Kelompok Ilmiah Mahasiswa/KIM) delegates of Faculty of Animal Husbandry University of Brawijaya get another achievement again in national event called Al Qur’an Scientific Writing Competition of Islamic Paper Competition 1437 H. The event held by Kajian Islam Nurul Ilmi of Chemical Engineering at Faculty of Industrial Engineering – Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology, Surabaya. The competition followed by various colleges in Indonesia, such as Diponegoro University, Brawijaya University, Gadjah Mada University, Sebelas Maret University, Bandung Institute of Technology, Padjadjaran University, Medan State University and Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology.

University of Brawijaya delegates 3 teams, one of them comes from Faculty of Animal Husbandry. They are Rani Winardi Wulan Sari (2014) as team’s Head, including members of Florida Marceluna (2014), Aprilia Retno (2014), and Muhammad Ngalaul Huda (2013). The work titled “ALBATIS: Development of Natural Antiseptic in Evidence of Surat An-Nahl Ayat 66 and Al-Hadits as Milk Production Improvement and Prevention of Mastitis Disease in Dairy Cows” succeeded to deliver Rani and her team to grab the first champion.

The event that organized in form of counseling to the society and scientific presentation organized for two days, Friday-Saturday (11-12/Mar/2016). Where in the first day, all finalists dive directly to Nambangan villagers, Kenjeran, Surabaya to socialize their innovations. Meanwhile in the first day, all finalists presented in Chemical Engineering building Faculty of Industrial Engineering Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology. In front of 3 judges consists of trainer of Chemical Engineering, Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology graduates, Marine Science lecturers, and Chemical Engineering lecturers. The assessment is based on score value of their work implementation in communities in addition to presentation.
