On Tuesday (16/7) the Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) of the Republic of Indonesia (RI) held a goes to campus activity. The activity was carried out at the Faculty of Health Sciences (FIKES) Universitas Brawijaya (UB) and was attended by hundreds of UB students.
The Ministry of Health Goes To Campus activity was carried out face-to-face at the 5th Floor of FIKES Building and also online. The activity was opened directly by the Dean of FIKES UB, Prof. Dian Handayani and attended by the Head of the Health Development Policy Agency Syarifah Liza Munira. In his speech, Dian said that FIKES UB was proud to have been made one of the venues for the Ministry of Health’s activity agenda. UB has many faculties and study programs that can be utilized by the Ministry of Health to provide experts from the Ministry of Health.
Furthermore, Dian said that with this activity, he hopes to be able to broaden and increase the insights of UB students. In addition, it can also help the Ministry of Health in providing professional workers and experts in the future to welcome the Golden Indonesia.
“UB has many students who can have the expertise needed by the Ministry of Health. Many UB alumni have also been absorbed by various health institutions and agencies in Indonesia. Hopefully this activity can take place and be beneficial for all parties. Hopefully it will continue to be implemented in the future,” said Dian. [pon/UB PR/ Trans. Iir]
