The Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Universitas Brawijaya (Fapet UB) and the Center for Livestock Embryo (BET) Cipelang have agreed to collaborate, in order to improve the quality of human resources and the implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education mission which includes education, research, and community service.
The agreement script was signed by drh. Oloan Parlindungan, MP (Head of the Cipelang Livestock Embryo Center) and Prof. Dr. Sc. Agr. Ir. Suyadi, M.S., IPU., ASEAN Eng. (Dean of Fapet UB), Wednesday (17/03/2021). However, due to the pandemic, they signed their respective institutions.
This three-year collaboration is manifested in several activities. Among them, involving BET officers in scientific activities in the field of animal husbandry such as seminars, workshops, training, and others as an effort to develop competencies in the field of livestock embryo production and livestock reproduction.
Then hold a guest lecture or training by inviting speakers from Fapet UB and BET. Meanwhile, the laboratory facilities at BET can be used for practicum, research, field practice, and internships.
BET Cipelang Bogor is one of the Technical Implementation Units under the auspices of the Directorate General of Animal Husbandry and Animal Health, which has the task of carrying out production, development and distribution of livestock embryos. (dta/ Humas UB/ Trans. Iir)
