Meanwhile Secretary General of the Ministry of Environment and Forestry Bambang Hendroyono conveyed the importance of creating a results-oriented bureaucracy, not merely oriented towards monotonous procedures, processes and routines. To achieve this, the Government, in this case the central and regional agencies, cannot work alone to solve public problems.
He also conveyed that collaboration with various parties would show directly how we work and the benefits and impact (outcomes) of the various performance outputs that we produce. In addition to strengthening the implementation of Programs/activities, collaborative governance will provide recognition of the impact of benefits because they are carried out together. “Hopefully collaboration and integration through cooperation that is built can run well and provide benefits to the nation and country of the Republic of Indonesia that we love,” he said.

In addition to the signing of the cooperation, a symbolic planting of step trees, namely Java areca nut (Pinanga Javana Blume) was also carried out in the yard of the Rectorate Building, Universitas Brawijaya. The purpose of planting this rare tree is part of a form of conservation of rare plants in Indonesia, especially Mount Semeru in Malang region East Java. (TWB/ UB PR/ Trans. Iir)
