A total of 15 students of Group 17 Thematic- Real Work Lecture of the Faculty of Computer Science, Universitas Brawijaya (FILKOM UB) chaired by Mohammad Herdian Bayu Pratama (Information Technology, 2020) contributed to the COVID-19 vaccination activity which was held in Wringinanom Village, Poncokusumo District. This vaccination activity was carried out for two days, namely on Tuesday (26/7/2022) and Wednesday (27/7/2022). For the field supervisor (DPL) from this group 17, namely Dr. Kariyoto, S.E., Ak., M.M.
This vaccination activity which was carried out at Ahmad Muslimin’s house as the Head of Wringinanom Village was a form of collaboration between the puskesmas (Health Center) and the village government using two types of vaccines, namely Sinovac and Astra Zeneca.
The target for vaccination is the residents of Wringinanom Village which includes youth and seniors, but the vaccinators are dominated by the elderly since many have not been vaccinated before. In addition to residents of Wringinanom Village, this vaccine activity also targets other communities outside and around Wringinanom Village. There are village officials participating, namely the Head Wringinanom Village and the Head of Simpar Hamlet.
Herdian Bayu as the head of group 17 explained that the job description of the KKN participants was to help record residents who would register for the vaccine. Residents are required to bring a photocopy of their family card or identity card. KKN participants will write down citizen data in the form of names, last information of vaccination (in the form of the last dose of vaccination), and addresses in the attendance book.
“KKN participants also recorded residents who had been vaccinated. Residents who have been vaccinated will be written in the vaccinated list book. The data written in the vaccinated list book are the name, information after vaccination or dose after being vaccinated, and address,” explained Herdian.
Herdian also hopes that after this vaccination activity is held, the spread of the Covid-19 virus will be more controlled, growing immunity, will have a direct impact on the economy and it is also hoped that MSMEs can quickly rise.
Meanwhile, Ahmad Muslimin as the Head of Wringinanom Village expressed his gratitude to all parties who have participated in the success of vaccination activities including the Thematic-KKN Group from FILKOM UB. Even though they have been vaccinated, Muslims hope that the people of Wringinanom will maintain their health and always obey health protocols as the main weapon against COVID-19.[drn/Humas UB/ Trans.
