Listening the word of compactness and togetherness is not much to do with Faculty of Engineering University of Brawijaya students, that upholds the values of awareness and generous each other. The matter can be proved during the 8th period of graduation ceremony, Saturday (12/Mar/2016), when students from Mechanical Engineering Student Association walked together using major attribute only to pick up their seniors who accomplished attended the ceremony at Samantha Krida building, University of Brawijaya.
Occasionally sounded their major’s jargon and make people surroundings impressed with cohesiveness and togetherness values they have shown. Emotion and pride is increasingly attached to the graduates who walk in the middle and surrounded by the active ones.
Darul, a Mechanical Engineering student Faculty of Engineering University of Brawijaya who joined in fetching the engineering graduates confessed, just for the first time this is to be organized in the year, and deliberately organized to deepen ties between active students and alumni. “Such activity is deliberately to be done to let seniors remember with their alma mater, especially in mechanical Engineering students,” he said.
A happy face seemed from the graduates since they have obtained special treatment from the juniors and similar major relatives. Engineering students are well known to have high solidarity either with similar, junior or senior level. So it is commonplace if they have their own tradition to release their seniors who graduated.
