The student delegation from the Faculty of Law Debate Community (KDFH) Universitas Brawijaya once again showed brilliant achievements in the national competition of Red Colony Law Fair VII 2024. The activity organized by the Student Executive Board of the Faculty of Law, Warmadewa University (28/11-29/11/2024) became an event for law students throughout Indonesia to hone their intellectual abilities, both in debate and essay writing.
KDFH Universitas Brawijaya successfully defended its 1st Place title and took home the Red Colony Rotating Cup and the Best Speaker award. This year’s delegation consisted of Vinli Ikva Hani (class of 2022), Frascatia Romaya Dewi (class of 2022, recipient of the Best Speaker award), and Gaudensio Mulagabe Pardosi (class of 2022).
Frascatia Romaya Dewi, who was also titled as the Best Speaker, expressed her pride in this achievement. “Quite happy and quite challenging, considering this is a rotating trophy that alhamdulillah, KDFH also managed to bring home last year. So, there is a moral burden to maintain the 1st Place and this Rotating Cup,” said Frascatia.
This achievement marks the second consecutive year that KDFH has won the 1st winner in the same event. “Alhamdulillah again that student affairs supported our delegation, starting from the administration of the proposal and LPJ to congratulations and encouragement,” added Frascatia.
With this victory, the Faculty of Law Universitas Brawijaya is getting closer to the opportunity to have the Red Colony Rotating Cup permanently. This can be realized if KDFH wins Champion 1 again in 2025, making it as the champion three times in a row.
“Hopefully in 2025, KDFH can still maintain this 1st winner so that the Rotating Cup can belong to FH UB forever, aamiin,” concluded Frascatia with optimism.
The Red Colony Law Fair competition is one of the prestigious events among law students throughout Indonesia. This year, the event was attended by dozens of delegates from various universities, showing tight competition and high intellectual quality.
