Almost Perfect, Lilian Letiyana The Best Graduates of UB

Lilian Letiyana, a student of the Department of Chemical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Brawijaya class of 2016, became the Best Graduates in UB Graduation Ceremony Period III Academic Year 2020/2021 (30/Jan/2021).

Lilian graduated after successfully defending her work entitled “Comparison of Solvent Effectiveness in Decaffeinated Arabica Coffee Beans and Robusta Coffee Beans” under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Ir. Handrawati Cahyani MS and Aji Hendra Sarosa ST MT.

She graduated with a GPA of 3.99 with a study period of 3 years and 10 months. She fully dedicated this predicate to her parents.

Lilian revealed that from her freshman year she already motivated and targeted to do all the best things.

She also admitted that she was greatly helped by very supportive lecturers and educational staff if there were students who had difficulties.

“What impressed me most is that they love sharing their experiences, especially those that are closely related to Chemical Engineering from a broader perspective,” said Lilian.

Not only did she graduate on time with an almost perfect Grade Point Average (GPA), Lilian Letiyana was also noted to have a number of achievements and a good organizational history.

She was a staff of the Academic and Professional Department of the Chemical Engineering Student Association 2018/2019, active in various committees, and was an Assistant for the Physical Chemistry Practicum and the Chemical Engineering Operation Practicum.

In the future, she wants to develop and apply the knowledge and abilities she gained to be the best version of herself.

“Everyone has an exceedance for themselves. Whatever it is, as long as there is a will there will be ways, but of course with effort and prayer,” said Lilian.

She also gave a message to his friends. There is no need to rush to finish your study, but do the best so you will not regret it in the future.

“Enjoy the process, enjoy your studies, and don’t forget to help each other to be successful together in the future,” she concluded. (hmtk/mic)
