UPT International Academic Affairs or International Office (IO) of Universitas Brawijaya holds “Info Session: Study in the Netherlands”, Friday (17/5). This event was organized in collaboration with the Eramus Training Center, based in Jakarta. The speakers at the event were Sally Gentha from the PhD Consortium and Ervian Savitri, representing Twente and Utrecht University. A total of 48 participants, consisting of lecturers and students, attended the event held in the Meeting Room on the 8th floor of the Rectorate Building.
In his opening remarks, the Director of the International Office, Dr. Didik Hartono, M.Pd, stated that his office provides opportunities for all members of UB’s academic community to pursue further studies abroad, including in the Netherlands. According to him, as the head of the International Office, one of his responsibilities is to connect the outside world with the academic community through events like this “Info Session.” Additionally, he encourages the establishment of collaborations between UB’s academic community and foreign universities. “We are a major university in Indonesia that aims to continuously enhance our international reputation. Therefore, in addition to sharing information about study opportunities in the Netherlands, we seek Erasmus’s assistance in connecting us with Dutch universities for future cooperation opportunities,” said Didik.
