The Faculty of Social and Political Sciences Universitas Brawijaya (FISIP UB) is once again become place to visit other campuses, especially to explore cooperation.
Recently, the Sociology Study Program at the University of Mataram conducted an exploration of cooperation with the Sociology Study Program at Universitas Brawijaya. About 10 representatives of Mataram University Sociology Study Program visited FISIP UB, Monday (4/7/2022).
Head of Sociology Study Program at the University of Mataram, Dr. Rosiady Sayuti, explained that his party wants Mataram University to learn from Universitas Brawijaya, which is currently growing rapidly to become one of the best campuses in Indonesia.
“I used to learn a lot from the former Vice Rector 4 of UB, Mr. Umar Nimran. From him, I believe that UB is the best reference place,” he said.
Dr. Rosiady Sayuti said that currently, Mataram University has adopted many work programs that have been issued by UB, one of which is foreign language learning facilities in each faculty.
In addition, according to Dr. Rosiady, the Main Performance Indicators (IKU) from UB are also several points in the top rankings in Indonesia. “Of course with this condition, we want to open a discussion about the potential for cooperation,” he explained.
Meanwhile, the Dean of FISIP, Dr Sholih Muadi SH., M.Si positively welcomed the arrival of the Sociology Study Program of the University of Mataram. He was also very open to the possibility of cooperation between the two study programs.
