Faculty of Administrative Sciences Universitas Brawijaya (FIA-UB) signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) or cooperation agreement with the College of Computing, Informatics, and Media, Universiti Teknologi MARA Malaysia at the Canseleri Building Campus Shah Alam Malaysia, on Friday (9/12/ 2022). The MoA is a strengthening of the Tridarma internationalization and quality assurance program as well as a continuation of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) of the two universities since 2020.
The signing of the MoA took place at the Tuanku Syed Sirajuddin UiTM Shah Alam Malaysia Chancellery Building which was attended by YBhg. Professor Dr. Ts. Haryani Haron, as Deputy Chancellor (Assistant of Vice Chancellor), Dean and senior lecturers at the School of Information Science, College of Computing, Informatics, and Media UiTM Malaysia. Meanwhile, FIA-UB was represented by the Dean, Head of Academic Senate, Head of Public Administration Department, and Head of Library Science S1 Study Program.
The MoA was signed directly by YBhg Professor Dr. Ts. Haryani Haron representing UiTM and Dean of FIA-UB Associate Professor Andy Fefta Wijaya, PhD.
“Through this MoA several strategic partnerships can be carried out. There are, research collaboration programs, lecturer exchanges, student exchanges, organizing various scientific forums, short courses and community service activities,” explained the Dean.
The MoA includes lecturer and student exchange programs which are valid for the next three and five years respectively. Especially the FIA-UB Library Science Study Program and the School of Information Science College of Computing, Informatics, and Media, Universiti Teknologi MARA Malaysia which is based in Shah Alam City which is the Capital City of the State of Selangor Malaysia.
On this occasion, the delegation team of FIA-UB also had the opportunity to directly inspect laboratory facilities, study centers, student dormitories, libraries, teaching and learning activities, and various facilities at the School of Information Science, College of Computing, Informatics, and Media UiTM Malaysia.
