IKA UB Held Webinar and Socialization of Program and Activity of COVID-19 Task Force

Universitas Brawijaya Alumni Association (IKA UB) socializes the program and activities of the COVID task force through webinars.

 

The activity entitled uniting power to fight the epidemic: IKA UB humanitarian activity for COVID-19 pandemic presented speakers from the COVID-19 task force volunteers from both Malang and Jabodetabek areas and also the medical tele-consultation team for FK UB alumni.

Ahmad Syauqi as the head of IKA UB Covid Task Force explained the description of all activities carried out by IKA UB during this pandemic.

Provision of healthy quarantine for 22 beds in Sitirejo and 25 beds in Rusunawa Dieng in collaboration with Universitas Brawijaya.

Self-isolation logistics services in Malang Raya area since the beginning of July have been assisted by almost 100 families, nearly 50 alumni who have been assisted by logistics in the Jabodetabek area.

“We from IKA UB task force stand by 24 hours to handle UB alumni, extended families and also the surrounding community who are being exposed to COVID-19,” said Syauqi

The activity was also filled with explanations of medical tele-consultation procedures for the handling of self-isolated patients of COVID-19 by dr. Rodhyan Rahmatiar, Sp.S.

“The amount of incorrect information spreading in the community regarding the handling of COVID-19 makes telemedicine important at this time,” said dr. Rodhyan.

Founder of Appisoman, Reddy Eko Prasetyo, explained the performance of the application in helping self-isolated patients.

“This appisoman is three applications that are merged into one, namely appisoman, UB task force and nursecare apps,” said Reddy.

IKA UB Task Force for Jabodetabek area, represented by Dina F Husna, explained the program for sending logistics assistance and vaccinations in Jabodetabek.

Logistical assistance in the form of food and medicine targeted at all self-isolated alumni who live in Jabodetabek area. For the Jabodetabek vaccination period 2-6 August 2021, 2,329 people have received Sinovac vaccine in collaboration with PDF and EMT IDI.

In line with the program, IKA UB Task Force for Malang area also explained related to the logistics assistance and vaccination program for self-isolation in Malang area.

Syamsul Hadi, who is the deputy chairman of IKA UB task force in the Malang area, explained that the vaccination held in Malang is a mutual cooperation activity with Universitas Brawijaya, UB Clinic, Malang Police, Malang Kodim, MBLC, and several community organizations in Malang Regency.
