Electrical Student Organization (HME) Universitas Brawijaya (UB) held SBMPTN UB 2016 Try Out (TO). The event that was held on February 7, 2016 has 4 series of events including SBMPTN Try Out, UB Tour, Seminar and Workshop demo.
The Committee of SBMPTN 2016 Try Out was time able to pick up 2500 participants from all regions in East Java some of the participants were even willing to come all the way in order to follow a series of events TO SBMPTN UB 2016.
Participants re registration begins at 6 am. Then the participants were led to the location the try out is held, they are located at seven regions in UB, including the building of Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Water Engineering, Architect, Faculty of Law and Faculty of Agriculture. The try out was started at 8:30 with 2 hours duration. After the try out, the participants attended a seminar held by Neutron, a Tutoring agency, discussing tips & tricks to pass SBMPTN. The event then continued with the Tour of UB. In UB’s Tour, participants are invited to tour and introduced to the details of faculties in UB. The enthusiasm of the participants in following the Tour UB is very huge, but due to weather constraints, the tour had to be stopped.
The next event is the entertainment, workshop demo (Robotics), and the door prize. The event was closed at 15.00 with the announcement of the winner of the 2016 UB SBMPTN TO. The Champion title is taken by Kharisma Surya Putri with a score of 184, the second place is Nabilla Balqis S with a score of 178, and the third prize is by MA Reno M with a score of 172.
