The Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia awarded the Faculty of Agricultural Technology (FTP) for the construction of the Corruption-Free Regional Integrity Zone (WBK) in 2022.
The Dean of FTP, Prof. Dr. Imam Santoso, MP explained that the determination process was quite long, starting from the appointment of FTP as UB representative because it was considered worthy, to the evaluation at The Ministry of Education level.
“Alhamdulillah, we managed to maintain the quality of FTP’s reputation as a faculty with an Integrity Zone. However, this is a long process. But thank God, since the previous period, FTP has managed to follow various processes very well, administratively and evaluation. Alhamdulillah and thank you for the commitment and hard work of all FTP community members and all parties who have supported and jointly maintained the reputation in terms of achievement and good governance,” he said.
Prof. Imam also explained that as a pilot faculty from UB, FTP has taken various steps since 2020, such as forming a WBK work team and monitoring and evaluating its development activities.
“In the future later, the construction of this integrity zone will not only be carried out in faculty units, but will also be implemented in all work units, both business entities and others within the scope of Brawijaya,” he explained.
In line with the Dean, Head of FTP Integrity Zone Team, Dr. Dodyk Pranowo, STP. MSi, also expressed his appreciation.
“Alhamdulillah and thank you for everything. It is hoped that in the future, all UB faculties can do the same thing in order to improve services and eliminate corrupt practices in the Work Unit so that UB can become an educational institution that is truly free of corruption and also cleanly serves as our future target to achieve WBBM in 2023, “he said.
